South Florida Impact is governed by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Division of Licensing. SFI is authorized to provide Contract Investigative services in accordance to Florida Chapter 493. All of our Investigators are issued the required Class C or Class CC licenses and may also carry a Class G Firearms License.

South Florida Impact is the creation of Gregory Jarmon and James Stewart. Both pride themselves on running an organization that bases its principles on Honor, Courage and Commitment. They get the job done right, every time.

Gregory G Jarmon Jr


Greg is a former US Marine who has dedicated the last several years to professionalizing the Florida Security and Private Investigation Industry.


As a US Marine, Greg was a member of the Rear Area Security React Team while station in Hungary for Operation Allied Force in 1999. He was rated an Expert Marksman and was awarded several Medals and Ribbons for his service, including the NATO Medal and the Kosovo Campaign Medal.


Greg's area of expertise in Security range from Hospitals to Resorts. He even has experience in security for Defense Contractors, safe guarding military and industrial information from a variety of threats, including espionage and terrorism. He is trained in various methods of security, including tactical, strategic and information security. He has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and has over 12 years experience in security and investigations.


Greg is a member of the National Association for Investigative Specialists and has been asked to edit the LawTech Private Investigator Textbook. He is a licensed Private Investigator, Security Officer, Manager and is awaiting his license for Security Instructor. He has received training in Executive Protection, Criminal Investigations, Civil Investigations and Family Law.


Greg is married and has four children. Along with his Security and Investigator licenses, he is also a Florida Notary Public. Greg's mission is to provide a quality of Investigator and Security Officer that can become the new industry standard in the State of Florida. 

James M Stewart

James is a former Peace Officer from the States of Florida and Kentucky, a seasoned officer that has engaged in a variety of calls that range from investigating property crimes, economic crimes, to crimes against persons.

James has worked through many different Divisions while working as a Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Kentucky. His career began in 1990 as a Dispatcher until 1993 when he decided to further his education and was sent to the police academy in Richmond, Kentucky. In 1996 he was transferred to an elite Division
within the Agency, the Warrant/ Emergency Protective Order Division. After working in this Division for three years he transferred to Court Security.

In 2003 James moved to Florida and transferred his Peace Officer certification at Florida Gulf Coast Community College. Upon graduation, James applied with the St. Pete Beach Police Department and was immediately employed with that Agency.

As an Officer with the City of St. Pete Beach, James was responsible for a number of arrests and seizures while with the Department, including the seizure of a Cadillac Eldorado that was confiscated from a drug dealer who was actively dealing on the beach. James was also responsible for acquiring a state funded grant that led to the Department receiving a 2007 Dodge Charger and a 2007 Harley Davidson Motorcycle to be used with the Department's Traffic Unit.

James education includes Law Enforcement Certifications from the University of Louisville, Eastern Kentucky University's Police Academy, and Gulf Coast Communality College.

James's training and certifications include, Telecommunication, NCIC, Instructor for Oleoresin Capsicum, Computer Fraud, Domestic Violence, Accident Investigation, Emergency Medical Dispatch, Crime Scene Investigation, Court Security Procedures, Hostage Negotiations and Crisis Management, Public and Police safety, Taser X26, Radar Speed Management, Narcotics Identification and Investigation, CMS Field Training Officer Program, Breath Test Operator (Intoxilyzer 5000 and 8000), and Laser Transition.

James retired from his law enforcement career in 2006 and he is now working full time as a Private Investigator with South Florida Impact Investigations.

James is married to his wife who is a Deputy Sheriff With the Collier County Sheriff's Office. He has one son who lives out of the state. James's mission is to provide complete and quality investigations for his clients.
